Live Frame Support

Your photo album, on your Lock Screen — changing through the day.

Common questions

Nothing shows up on my Lock Screen

Check that Live Activities are allowed for Live Frame under iOS Settings → Live Frame → Live Activities. Then open the app and tap “Show on Lock Screen”. The frame appears the next time you look at the locked screen.

The frame says “Your frame has ended”

That's normal: every session has a planned end (up to 2 hours on the free plan, up to 8 with Pro — iOS itself ends any Live Activity after about 8 hours). Restarting is always free: tap the frame, then “Start it again”.

The photos don't change by themselves

On the free plan you change photos with the arrow button on the frame. Pro rotates automatically at the interval you choose. Scheduled frames start on their own at the times you set in the app.

The weather card doesn't appear

Turn the weather card on in the app's settings and allow location access when asked — the card needs it to fetch your local conditions from Apple Weather. The card is mixed in between your photos and only shows while its data is fresh (about three hours after a fetch; on the free plan weather is fetched when a frame starts and at most once a day). No card just means no fresh data — your photos keep rotating.

Some photos are missing or look wrong

Live Frame works with a prepared copy of your album. If you changed the album in the Photos app, open Live Frame once — it refreshes the copy. You can also re-select the album under Settings → Album.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Live Frame Pro. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the paid period. The free frame keeps working forever either way.

What data does the app collect?

Your photos never leave the device. The short, complete list of what does is in the Privacy Policy.
